Dehydrated White Onion Minced

Dehydrated White Onion Minced is made from high-quality, fresh white onions that are cleaned, peeled, chopped
into small granule-like pieces (typically 1–3 mm), and then carefully dehydrated.

Product Overview

The minced form offers a strong, sharp onion flavor and is widely used in food processing, seasoning mixes, sauces, dry soups, snacks, dressings, and ready-to-eat meals. It is a convenient, shelf-stable alternative to fresh onion with consistent taste and quality.

Mature, disease-free white onions are sourced directly from farms to ensure optimal flavor and color. Onions are thoroughly washed to remove soil, debris, and contaminants. They are then peeled using mechanical or steam methods. Peeled onions are chopped and further minced into uniform small granules using stainless steel food-grade processing equipment.

The minced onions are dried using hot air in continuous belt dryers at controlled temperatures (typically 60–70°C). This reduces the moisture content to below 6%, preserving shelf life and flavor. Dried onion granules are passed through sieves to achieve uniform particle size and remove fines or oversized bits.

Every batch undergoes quality checks for moisture content, microbial load, color, and flavor. Compliance with standards like FSSAI, HACCP, FDA, or ISO is ensured (based on exporter/manufacturer practices). Stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong odors. Ideal storage temperature is below 25°C (77°F).
