Premium-grade white onions are sourced, ensuring optimal maturity, freshness, and absence of defects. Onions are washed thoroughly to remove any dirt and foreign material, followed by mechanical peeling to remove the skin. Cleaned onions are finely chopped and minced to a uniform consistency, preparing them for drying.
The minced onion is dehydrated using controlled hot air drying methods (typically 60–70°C) until moisture content drops below 6%, preserving flavor and reducing microbial activity. The dried product is passed through food-grade milling machines to produce granules of desired mesh size (commonly 40–80 mesh). The granules are sieved to remove dust and ensure consistent particle size.
