It is widely used in food processing for products that require garlic rehydration, such as soups, curries, gravies, and spice mixes. The flakes are produced without any preservatives or artificial colors.
Only well-cured garlic bulbs are selected. Garlic cloves are cleaned and peeled. The cloves are sliced into medium-thick chips or flakes. The slices are dehydrated in hot air dryers under sanitary conditions.
The dried slices are graded to obtain uniform flake sizes (typically 8–15 mm). The product is inspected and metal-detected. Flakes are packed in 10/12/14 kg food-grade bags.
